Cancellation Policy

Your time and our time are valuable

Here at Hooyah Health Center, we respect and understand your time is valuable. We prepare for sessions ahead of time and make sure we are punctual for each session. 

In return, we would like clients to respect our time. If a client cancels in less than 24 hours, it is difficult to schedule another client into the time slot. This means someone who needs counseling misses out on a needed service. In order to be fair to our clients, we have a cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

No Shows - After one no show appointment, there is a discussion with the client regarding the no show. It is up to the discretion of the therapist if the client can resume services or if the client should be discharged with three therapist referrals and resources.

After two no show appointments, clients are discharged from services, given three therapist referrals and resources.

Late Cancellations - After 3 late cancellations, without 24 hours notice, sessions will not be available and cases are closed. Three therapist referrals are provided with resources.

Drugs/Alcohol - If a client arrives to therapy under the influence, the session is ended, client is discharged from services and case is closed. Three therapist referrals are provided with resources.

Safety - If the therapist does not feel safe, session is immediately ended, client is discharged and case is closed.Three therapist referrals are provided with resources.

Cancellation Fee - Cancellations without 24 hours notice will be charged the regular agreed upon hourly fee.

Payments - Hooyah Health Center uses Ivy Pay for payments.

We do not accept cash or check.

We do not carry cash in our office.

We accept credit cards and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). 

Payments must be made on the date of and before the scheduled therapy visit.
