My name is Lily Davis, LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon (License 7407) and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State (License SC 60523420). I attended Portland State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. I attended graduate school at Eastern Washington State and graduated with a Master of Social Work degree.
I have been in the medical field since 1989 where I started my career as a combat medic in the Oregon Army National Guard. I have worked with many cultures, nationalities, and sexual orientations. I have worked with children, adults, and in Geriatrics. Currently, in my private practice I work with adults and teens who have experienced traumatic events and/or been subject to serious abuse.
My speciality is trauma recovery and I have worked with multicultural human trafficking, sexual assault and domestic violence victims as well. My practice philosophy is fairly simple: the body and the mind are one when it comes to trauma. You are unique, so your therapy should be too. Serious and compelx symptoms cannot be resolved with simple, one size fits all, McDonalds fast food type therapies. This is my opinion based on 29 years of experience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. We will discuss your situation and create a plan on how we can work together to get you to where you want to be on your road to recovery. Be well!
